The Sport Medical Rehabilitation Center of Shanghai University of Sport is a professional organization with the characteristics of sports rehabilitation, which integrates medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. It is the sports rehabilitation teaching base of Shanghai Rehabilitation Medical Association and the affiliated unit of the rehabilitation sports health care professional committee of Shanghai Rehabilitation Medical Association. The center has jurisdiction over Shanghai upper body injury orthopedic hospital with 80 rehabilitation beds and two sports rehabilitation halls with first-class rehabilitation equipment, covering an area of 2000 square meters. It has good rehabilitation treatment conditions and first-class equipment for sports rehabilitation research. The total assets of the equipment are 9 million yuan. The director of the center is Professor Chen Peijie. He is currently the president of Shanghai Institute of physical education, the director of China Rehabilitation Medical Association, the director of China Sports Science Society and the vice president of Shanghai Rehabilitation Medical Association. The center also has a group of "double qualified teachers" who are competent for teaching, scientific research and clinical work. At present, the center has advanced equipment such as Norwegian S-E-T suspension system, multi joint isokinetic machine, Italian dynamic and static balance training instrument, scenario simulation training, American Thera band equipment, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, ultrasonic, microwave, weight loss training system, gait analysis treadmill, semiconductor laser and so on. It undertakes the discipline construction of sports rehabilitation specialty, undergraduate and graduate teaching, clinical internship and practice, and scientific research tasks. Sport hospital under the jurisdiction of the center is the designated unit of Shanghai rehabilitation medical insurance. It is the clinical training base for students majoring in sports rehabilitation of Shanghai University of Sport. At the same time, it also undertakes the task of serving the society. After years of development and relying on the high-quality resources of the school, the sports medicine rehabilitation center has formed its own professional characteristics in the rehabilitation of bone injuries, bone diseases and sports injuries, and has also made considerable contributions to the construction of the school.
